Through correspondence from the Health Minister masks are now mandated in all medical facilities, this includes all doctors, staff, and patients. Please find the attached link below:
Please ensure that you bring the appropriate face masks with you to your upcoming appointments. If you do not have one, a mask will be provided for you at the front desk.
FIRST LEVEL PROTECTION (ELIMINATION): LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE AT THE WORKPLACE AND ENSURE PHYSICAL DISTANCE WHENEVER POSSIBLE
- Ensure limit of three workers at a time
- Notice to patients not allowing visitors on signage
- Created occupancy limit of 10 patients at one time
- Controlling schedule, reducing number of patients during each adjustment set. Allowing 2-3 patients at a time
- Signage posted reminding patients to practice social distancing while in the office
- Removed extra chairs/seating. Spaced remaining chairs six feet apart

SECOND LEVEL PROTECTION (ENGINEERING): BARRIERS AND PARTITIONS
- No barriers added
- Staff maintains distance from patients behind natural/existing partition of the front desk
- Clean front desk, POS machine, door handles and sign in area before morning and afternoon sets
THIRD LEVEL PROTECTION (ADMINISTRATIVE): RULES AND GUIDELINES
- Workers maintain social distance (6 ft) apart
- Wipe down front desk, waiting room chairs, POS, entrance/exit door, exam room doors twice daily
- Wipe down treatment tables and equipment after every use
- No shared equipment or supplies, workers maintain own equipment
FOURTH LEVEL PROTECTION: USING MASKS (OPTIONAL MEASURE IN ADDITION TO OTHER CONTROL MEASURES)
- Staff will wear a mask upon patient request
- If a staff member feels it is necessary and/or requested to wear one by another worker
- If a patient is showing signs of illness and did not disclose it to us
- If a staff member starts to feel ill, they must put on a mask immediately, and be sent home
REDUCE THE RISK OF SURFACE TRANSMISSION THROUGH EFFECTIVE CLEANING AND HYGIENE PRACTICES
- Implemented daily cleaning schedule
- Implemented hand sanitizing stations
- Routine hand washing/sanitizing
- Removed all non-essential high touch items, i.e. reading materials and children’s toys in play area
